Renting Equipment Made Easy

We've answered your most common questions about renting equipment with Horizon Solutions. If you don't find what you're looking for, reach out to us — we're here to help!

  • How do I initiate a rental request?

    To start the rental process, head over to the Rental Inventory Page where you will find our rental equipment.  There you can create a quote request through the online form.  


    Or, if you'd prefer, simply send us a request via email at rentals@horizonsolutions.net


    Someone from our rental team will respond promptly - usually within 48 hours.

  • What happens after I submit a rental request?

    Once we receive your request, we will provide you with a quote detailing the cost of the rental. 


    Of course, additional equipment or services will result in additional cost.

  • Can I specify equipment preferences or requirements?

    Yes, you can specify your equipment preferences or any specific requirements during the rental request process. 


    Our team will work to accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.

  • Can I extend or modify my rental period?

    Yes, based on availability, rental periods can be extended. 


    Please contact our rental desk as soon as possible to discuss any changes to your rental agreement.

  • Is training available for equipment operation?

    Yes, we offer training sessions for those needing a refresher on equipment operation before renting.


    Simply let us know your requirements, and we will arrange training accordingly.

  • Will I be charged if I return the equipment beyond the scheduled return time?

    Yes, just like when you rent a car or when you rented that VHS tape back in the 80's, we charge late fees for overdue rentals.  It's always best to contact us immediately if you find you are going to be late returning any equipment.

  • What types of support do you offer during the rental period?

    We provide 24/7 support to assist you with any technical challenges or questions that may arise during your rental experience.

  • Do you offer delivery and setup services?

    Yes, Horizon Solutions provides delivery and setup services for all  our rental equipment.  


    Although most of our rentals are within Southern Ontario, we offer delivery and setup services across Canada.  


    Please inquire about these services when placing your rental request.

  • What happens if equipment is damaged during my rental period?

    In case of equipment damage, additional charges may apply. 


    We recommend reviewing our rental agreement for details on liability and damage policies.

Paying for Your Rental

  • What payment options are available for renting equipment?

    We offer a range of payment methods, including e-transfer, credit card (MasterCard & Visa), cash, and electronic funds transfer (EFT).

  • Do first-time rental clients have specific payment requirements?

    Yes, for first-time rental clients, we require upfront payment along with legal photo identification to ensure a secure transaction.

  • What payment options are available for clients with established accounts?

    Clients with established accounts enjoy flexible payment options tailored to their rental needs. We accommodate varying preferences and situations.  Ask us if you qualify for these options.

  • Are there additional charges if I pay with Credit Card?

    Credit Card payments over $3000 are subject to a 3% surcharge.

  • How can I ensure a seamless payment process for my rental?

    To ensure a smooth payment process, provide accurate information and select your preferred payment method when confirming your rental agreement.
