Eos State of the State with Q&A*

Join Eos Family Product Manager Nick Gonsman as he reviews the last year of features, and previews upcoming additions – including Eos Expansion Processing and NDI input in Eos v3.3. Stick around for a Q&A with Nick to get your questions answered and your thoughts heard about Eos Family development.

Eos Infrastructure: Networking Review*

As lighting systems get more sophisticated, having knowledge to properly deploy a control network has become a critical skill to build successful shows of any scale. Nick Gonsman will review network topologies and configurations that support entertainment control, getting you ready to confidently manage any systems – with just a few gateways, or with hundreds of devices.

Eos Expansion Processing: Deploying Successful Sessions*

Eos Expansion Processing, coming in v3.3 this spring, allows users to add processors to their session to expand Eos above a single-device license. Nick Gonsman will cover qualifying sessions and devices, rules for session architecture, session capacities, and session configuration settings and best practices. Learn how Eos Expansion Processing can help productions of any scale.


*These sessions will have space for up to 50 participants and will feature Nick Gonsman, Product Manager for EOS.

Day 2: November 19 - HIGH END DAY with Bobby & Wyatt

High End Moving Lights Workshop:

Moving Lights – How they work – Why they work like that – Why they don’t work sometimes – And what do to about that. A hands-on session with ETC/High End including a product tear-down, maintenance tips, and the Canadian premier of a new High End Systems theatrical moving light.

Two identical workshops. You choose which time slot works for you.

About the Presenters

Bobby Hale

Bobby Hale is a veteran in the lighting industry with over 30 years of experience, currently serving as a Regional Sales Manager at ETC, where he drives sales and business development for automated lighting products in the Northeast USA and Eastern Canada. His extensive background includes pivotal roles at High End Systems, where he excelled in product development, sales strategy, and product management, showcasing his deep expertise in advancing high-end lighting solutions. Bobby liaisons with and supports lighting designers for some of the world’s most successful live theatre shows and entertainment venues including countless Broadway productions.

Wyatt Mailloux

Wyatt Mailloux is a Product Support Specialist at ETC with a focus on High End Systems automated products. Wyatt is an insightful problem solver with a 10-year background encompassing professional, technical, and managerial functions including project management and production support with meticulous attention to detail. A proven ability to execute actionable solutions and exceed performance goals in competitive markets. His key strengths in client interface and collaboration promote quality customer service through technical guidance and product training.


Prior to joining ETC he graduated from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Lighting Design with an emphasis in Concert Design. Wyatt designed and programmed lighting for productions including Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Kenny G, The Go-Go’s, and The Psychedelic Furs to name a few.


Nick Gonsman

Nick Gonsman is a Product Manager for Entertainment Controls, based out of ETC’s New York City office. In his role, he guides development for the Eos Family of control systems, which are deployed on Broadway, in the West End, and in theatres, opera houses, television studios, film sets, theme parks, museums, and universities all around the world. Previous to product management, Nick spent 13 years at ETC as a control systems designer, where he facilitated lighting and data infrastructure for some of the most notable venues globally. In his copious free time, Nick likes to make his own wine.
